The GridLoc MightyMount XL was designed as a robust but economical mount for longer footprint areas. Compatible with all YakAttack track-mounted accessories, this injection molded mount functions similar to a GearTrac, and allows t-bolt accessories to be installed from either end. A simple twist allows quick and easy position adjustment, but a few extra turns are required to remove the accessory, giving the GridLoc MightyMount XL the same gear security features of the original YakAttack MightyMount, with all of the adjustability of our GearTrac. For LockNLoad accessories like the popular Omega or Zooka II Rod Holder, cutouts on the outer edges of the GridLoc MightyMount XL were added to accommodate the TrackTeeth located on the underside of the LockNLoad track mounts to prevent attachments from sliding along the track, adding even more security. The GridLoc MightyMount XL was designed around the GridLoc Mounting platform featured on the BlackPak Pro and replaces the MightyMount XL. The overall lengths will be the same as the original MightyMount XL; 6”, 9”, 12”, but the hole pattern has been updated and is different. The hole spacing on the GridLoc MightyMount XL is 1.5” x 1.5”. A Phillips screwdriver and the included stainless steel screws are required for the installation on the BlackPak Pro. For installations on rotomolded and thermoformed kayaks a 1/8” drill bit will also be needed.

In typical YakAttack fashion, what started as an idea for a single offset RotoGrip Paddle Holder resulted in a product with a bit more versatility. The DoubleHeader track mount can serve several different purposes, but in this case, it is the foundation for the perfect offset paddle holder solution that our customers have been dreaming of ever since the launch of the RotoGrip several years back. Compatible with standard diameter kayak paddles the RotoGrip Paddle Holder has become the most widely used paddle holder in the industry. The RotoGrip is a simple yet highly effective paddle holder solution, but many paddlers wanted to use one or two RotoGrips on a single side of the kayak. When using two RotoGrips on a single piece of track, you get a nice tight hold, but you also cover up the entire length of the track with your paddle, rendering open track space useless. The DoubleHeader in this configuration eliminates that problem entirely and offsets the paddle holders off the kayak allowing for the full functionality of the remaining track space for other accessories. If you are tight on track space, the DoubleHeader includes an additional feature to add LockNLoad accessories like YakAttack rod holders, camera mounts, and more. Simply replace the stock knob from the DoubleHeader with the LockNLoad base of a rod holder or other accessories, and you are able to have multiple attachments on a short section of track or a single point of attachment like a MightyMount II. Nothing about this design is what you’d expect, but your expectation will never be the same after using it. With the push of a button or the flip of a lever, the BarCart can be deployed, adjusted, or collapsed in seconds. And with two bunk bar configurations, it boasts unprecedented compatibility with different hull shapes. Bunks and Tie Downs With the vast and ever-evolving shapes of modern-day kayak hulls, we knew our bunk system would require extreme versatility. When we found that inline bars worked better on some boats while crossbars worked better on others, we decided to build both options into the BarCart. You can transport “roof rack style,” putting the bars in a crossbar configuration for boats with pontoon-shaped or reasonably flat bottoms, or you can configure them in a traditional “bunk-style” configuration, where the bars are parallel to the hull of your vessel, for kayaks with more of a “V” shaped hull. In this configuration, the bars can be locked into 6 different positions, depending on your boat’s width and the shape of its hull. Securing a kayak to the BarCart is not a one-size-fits-all proposition either, so we added a number of different tie-down points. Strap loops integrated into the wheel hubs work great for kayaks that are wider than the wheelbase of the cart, and a centralized tie-down point located at the center of the axle is great when transporting narrow watercrafts. The tie-down points are designed for 1” flat webbing cam straps (not included), but you can also use rope with less than 5/16” diameter. For added grip on the underside of your kayak, the BarCart includes four super “grippy” and easily positionable rubber bumpers. For long-term durability we opted for designing snap-on rubber bumpers instead of standard foam. Storage and Collapsible Components So, you’re at the launch, now what? Sometimes it’s not convenient to take your cart back to your vehicle, and doing so leaves your kayak and gear unattended and susceptible to theft. We solved this problem by making the BarCart ultra collapsible. The wheels can be removed with the push of a button. The bunk bars, long enough for even the widest fishing kayaks, collapse with a heavy-duty ferrule and bungee system, enabling them to go from a 44” deployed length to less than 18” in a compact and secure package. The uprights fold down, parallel with the axle, making it possible to store the BarCart inside the hull of a kayak. All of this can be performed with no tools using smart and simple buttons and levers. If needed, everything minus the centralized tiedown point can be removed from the aluminum axle. Wheels The wheels included are a 3-Piece BeadLoc wheel design with durable and grippy rubber thread. These tires are airless and designed for use on hard-packed surfaces. The wheels easily snap in place and are removed by a push of a button Dual Kickstands The BarCart comes with two kickstands. When configured with one on each side, you can optimize and support the loading angle for both sides of the cart. When not in use, the beefy kickstands snap in place, locked out of the way.
