Please note: Maximum added weight to the boat is 50 lbs. So 50 lbs in additional gear is the most we recommend you carry inside the kayak while using the Sidekick. We also don't recommend adding weight when going over rough terrain, curbs, or dropping out of the back of a pick up truck.

Fixed Upright Bunks The Bunkster features two fixed uprights configured in the “bunk-style” configuration, where the bars are parallel to the hull of your vessel, which fits many hull shapes of modern-day kayaks. The uprights can easily be repositioned along the axle to maximize compatibility with different kayak widths and body lines of the hull. The axle features six bunk positions ranging from 6.25” to 16” wide. Tie-Downs and Bunk Pads Securing a kayak to the Bunkster with straps can be different for every model of kayak, so like the TowNStow BarCart, the Bunkster has multiple integrated tie-down points. Strap loops built into the wheel hubs work great for kayaks that are wider than the wheelbase of the cart, and a centralized tie-down point located at the center of the axle is excellent when transporting narrow watercrafts. The tie-down points are designed for 1” flat webbing cam straps (not included), but you can also use rope that is less than 5/16” in diameter. For added grip on the underside of your kayak, the Bunkster includes four super “grippy” rubber bumpers. For long-term durability, we opted for designing snap-on rubber bumpers instead of common foam. Wheels The wheels included are a 3-Piece BeadLoc wheel design with durable and grippy rubber thread. These tires are airless and designed for use on hard-packed surfaces. The wheels easily snap in place and are removed by a push of a button. Storage and Components Many anglers set up their kayaks in the boat ramp parking lot and then cart them to water’s edge, but taking the cart back to their vehicle is not always an option. Doing so leaves your kayak and gear unattended and susceptible to theft. The Bunkster was designed to disassemble completely and without the need for tools. The wheels remove by depressing the button behind the hub on the axle and can be done in seconds. The fixed uprights remove by lifting the orange position detent lever and sliding them off the axle. Everything minus the centralized tie-down point can be removed from the aluminum axle, leaving you with five parts that can be stored in most hatches. The Bunkster comes with two kickstands, configured with one on each side to optimize and support the loading angle for both sides of the cart. When not in use, the beefy kickstands snap in place, locked out of the way. This system is sold as a pair and comes with everything you need to stage and secure up to three rods. It introduces an all-new attachment system called ClickTrac. The YakAttack CellBlok is a track mounted battery box and its top surface serves as a mounting platform for the display and transducer deployment arm. A minimum of 10.5" of track is required to attach the CellBlok. For tournament anglers, it boasts built-in dual identifier holders, allowing you to seamlessly display your ID for catch, photo, release style tournaments. Our objective was to develop a fish measuring board from the ground up that maximizes convenience and usability for the consumer while improving tournament integrity by minimizing opportunities for intentional or accidental misrepresentation of the length of fish being measured. Culling Tabs One feature unique to the YakAttack LeaderBoard is the built-in culling system. Each board has a slot across the top edge with three (3) black culling tabs that slide along the increments on the measuring surface. Many kayak tournament anglers we spoke with throughout the development process who participate in catch, photo, release style tournaments mentioned spending considerable time referring back to the photos in their cell phones to the check lengths on their smallest or largest fish. This process could be more efficient for your time management on the water and could be better for a healthy, quick fish release. The culling tabs allow anglers to track their smaller fish quicker during a tournament and adjust as they progress. Are the culling tabs useful if you are not a tournament angler? Absolutely! Permanently mark your personal best across three species or your top three fish for the year. Floatation and Security The LeaderBoard comes with EVA foam inlayed on the board's underside, creating the necessary buoyancy for floatation. Ethylene Vinyl Acetate is a closed-cell structured foam that provides resistance to water and moisture, so it will hold up for many years in a wet environment. Also included in the design of the board is a built-in tether point for added security. Just because it floats does not mean it can't drift out of reach quickly in current or wind. Tether not included. Oversized Design and Geometry It’s no secret that the LeaderBoard looks different than the measuring devices that you are used to. While most boards are relatively flat, our designers focused on geometry to better accommodate the shape of the fish. On top of being wider overall, this shape cradles the fish to help achieve a more natural presentation of the fish for photography. The angled design of the measuring surface adds rigidity to the board, virtually eliminating flex and minimizes the potential of glare, allowing for more qualified catch photos. There are 3 modes: locked, adjustment, and removal. The patent pending design is easy to use: From locked mode, simply squeeze a lever to go into adjustment mode. In adjustment mode, the mount can be rotated in any direction, but cannot be removed, ensuring the accessory is completely secure while making adjustments. Let go of the lever and you are back in locked mode. To go to removal mode, flip the lever out, and the system easily slides off of the track mount. This system is sold as a pair and comes with everything you need to stage and secure up to three rods. It introduces an all-new attachment system called ClickTrac. The ClickTrac Rail System allows you to easily attach, adjust and remove your accessories with the push of a button. For those who use a bow-mounted motor or pedal drive on their kayak off the side horizontal rod stagers like the SideStage could be a nice option to get three rods within reach and easy to access.

Secure, quick access, and versatility were the foundational requirements when designing the TracPak. We wanted the ability to mount one or two storage boxes on a MightyMount or GearTrac, and with the TracPak, you can stack two boxes onto a single mounting point, helping save track space for other accessories. The TracPak features a quick release track base compatible with all YakAttack MightyMounts, GearTrac, and most other factory-installed kayak track. When attached to a track, the Quick Release Base features an array of slots, allowing for micro-adjustments in each direction of the t-bolt. This should maximize compatibility by increasing the locations where the TrackPak will fit on your watercraft. If you would rather surface mount the quick release base, included are stainless steel screws for attachment on the BlackPak Pro, the deck of your kayak, or other flat surfaces. For surface mounting on anything other than the BlackPak Pro, a 1/8” drill bit will be required for the installation. Please use a handheld screwdriver and ensure not to overtighten the stainless screws.
